Mental Health Awareness Week

This year, Mental Health Awareness Week focuses on body image and here at St Andrew's we want to encourage and support young people to achieve a positive attitude to how they see themselves and others.

If you are a parent, teacher or carer of children or young people aged between 13 - 18, join us to learn more about:

Get involved with Mental Health Awareness Week

This year, we are running a competition to launch our new Instagram account, which will help us to connect with young people. We’d like to invite students to send us a DM to @standrewscare on Instagram with a visual representation of what body image means to you. It could be a meme that you like, an object that makes you feel good, or a photograph of somebody that you admire or are inspired by.  Please use the hashtags #MHBootcamp19 #mepositive and #MHAW19.

Please follow @standrewscare on Instagram for more details and to take part. We would like to create a piece of artwork with all the entries that were submitted to raise awareness of body image issues and to encourage young people to view themselves positively. You can also submit entries via email to [email protected]

The winner will receive a canvas of their artwork.
