To access our clinic we firstly recommend that you discuss your symptoms with your General Practitioner (GP).
Although we accept self-referrals into our services we would always advise that you inform your GP of any mental health problem you have to ensure that these issues are considering as part of your ongoing health care.
Once you have contacted us and we receive a completed self-referral questionnaire, we will be in touch with you to confirm your first Psychiatry appointment.
We accept payment through self-payment or private healthcare insurance.
Payment by cheque will need to be received five days before your appointment.
If you are looking for free assessment and talking therapy services, your GP will be able to inform you of the options through the NHS Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services.
Self-payment
If you choose to pay for therapy yourself, you can either pay in advance of the session or on the day of the appointment. We accept payment by cheque, bank transfer, cash or by debit or credit card by calling 01604 616050.
Private healthcare insurance
Many of our Psychiatrists and Psychologists are registered with the major insurance companies. We can assist you to arrange for the cost of your treatment to be covered by your insurer. This will include an estimation of the price of your therapy and includes any documentation that has been requested by your insurer.
Often people have private medical insurance through their place of work - it is worth asking if you feel this could help support your healthcare needs.
